This place is the creation of two best friends for life, Erin and Kara, and their passion for smoothie bowls. These daring and free-spirited women relocated from Hawaii to Austin in 2010. They quickly fell in love with the "live music capital of the world," but there was one thing missing: açaí, the superfruit from Brazil that they discovered to be so delicious in Hawaii that it made them feel incredible! Blenders and Bowls were born out of an indignant desire for an açaí bowl.
